Job Description

Director of Food & Beverage

Greene County, New York

A members-forward, four-season mountain destination in the Catskills is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to lead and elevate all dining experiences across the property. Food & Beverage is central to the guest and member experience, playing a critical role in satisfaction, retention, and brand identity.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an operator who understands high-touch hospitality, thrives in seasonal environments, and values consistency, relationships, and thoughtful execution.

The Role

The Director of Food & Beverage oversees a diverse portfolio of dining experiences, including member dining, public outlets, après-ski programming, and event-driven food service. This leader is responsible for delivering cohesive standards across all venues while balancing private-club expectations with resort operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, financial discipline, and the ability to guide teams through peak seasons and quieter shoulder periods without compromising quality or culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Food & Beverage operations across multiple venues and service styles
  • Establish and maintain service standards aligned with a private-club culture
  • Partner with Culinary leadership to ensure consistency and quality
  • Build, coach, and retain strong leadership and seasonal teams
  • Manage budgets, labor strategy, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Collaborate with Membership, Events, Operations, and People Ops
  • Guide menu and concept evolution while honoring guest and member preferences
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Ideal Candidate

  • Director-level Food & Beverage leadership experience in a resort, private club, or luxury hospitality setting
  • Proven success in seasonal or destination-driven operations
  • Strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder-management skills
  • Financially fluent with multi-outlet operational experience
  • Visible, steady leader who balances creativity with consistency

Why This Opportunity

  • Membership-forward environment with controlled guest volume
  • Opportunity to shape and elevate a growing hospitality platform
  • Four-season mountain lifestyle within reach of New York City
  • Housing assistance available for qualified candidates

This role offers the opportunity to lead Food & Beverage where relationships matter, standards are rising, and hospitality is personal.
