We are seeking a skilled and driven Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations, lead back-of-house execution, and help deliver a consistently exceptional dining experience. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both strong cooking ability and leadership presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and cost controls
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Train, coach, and develop culinary team members
- Collaborate with leadership on menu execution and operational improvements
- Monitor prep levels, line readiness, and kitchen efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen leadership role
- Strong culinary fundamentals, including scratch cooking and plating
- Proven ability to lead and motivate BOH teams
- Experience with inventory, ordering, and controllable cost management
- Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume service periods
- Solid understanding of food safety standards (ServSafe preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
