The Role

This role combines high-level culinary excellence with operational leadership. You will be responsible for the entire Back of House (BOH) lifecycle—from menu development and financial accountability to fostering a dynamic, collaborative environment where your team can grow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Innovation: Continually develop and improve menu offerings that align with our brand.
  • Operational Leadership: Manage the BOH team through the entire employee cycle, providing guidance on technique, safety, and presentation.
  • Financial Mastery: Accountable for the financial performance of the kitchen, including hitting COGS goals, managing labor optimization, and overseeing inventory controls.
  • Excellence & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and kitchen maintenance.
  • Culture Building: Lead by example using our core values.

  • Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year.

  • Technically Proficient: Mastery of diverse cooking techniques and seasonal menu planning using locally sourced ingredients.
  • A Mentor: Proven success in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Business Savvy: Strong understanding of food costing, P&L management, and budgeting.
  • Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and remain calm under stress while delivering consistent results.
