General Manager
Boutique Condominium Resort | Caribbean
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a small, high-quality condominium resort in the Caribbean. This role is well suited to a hands-on, commercially minded hotel leader who can operate effectively within an individually owned unit / condo-style environment.
The successful candidate will balance owner relations, operational delivery, financial oversight, and team leadership, while maintaining service standards and protecting the long-term value of the asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall leadership of resort operations, excluding outsourced amenities
- Oversight of core departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Pool & Beach Operations, IT, and Human Resources
- Management of multiple budget frameworks, including owner-related and management company budgets
- Professional engagement with owners, committees, and board representatives
- Leadership of an established team with credibility, structure, and care
- Accountability for operational standards, financial discipline, and asset protection
Candidate Profile
- Proven Caribbean resort experience in a General Manager or senior operations role
- Strong background in Rooms Division
- Financially confident with experience managing complex or dual budgets
- Experience in a condo-hotel or owner-influenced environment preferred
- Mature, diplomatic, and emotionally intelligent leadership style
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
- Strong communicator with sound judgment and professionalism
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Approximately US$110,000 per annum
- Service Charge Participation
- Performance Bonus: Up to 20% annually
