The Director of Sales & Events is a dynamic and visionary leader responsible for driving revenue strategy while elevating the hotel’s positioning as a premier destination for luxury events and weddings. This role oversees all sales and event operations, with a focus on delivering highly personalized, flawlessly executed experiences.


The ideal candidate brings proven experience within ultra-luxury properties and is deeply obsessed with the guest experience, approaching every interaction with intention, creativity, and a commitment to exceeding expectations. They are both strategic and hands-on, with a refined ability to build relationships, inspire teams, and curate exceptional moments that resonate long after the event concludes. Experience in luxury weddings and high-touch social events is essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and events strategies to drive revenue across group, catering, social, and wedding segments.
  • Position the hotel as a premier destination for luxury weddings and bespoke events, cultivating relationships with high-net-worth clients, planners, and industry tastemakers.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and events team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and Forbes Five-Star service standards.
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence with clients, ensuring every interaction—from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up—is personalized and exceptional.
  • Partner closely with culinary, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment across all departments.
  • Oversee the full event lifecycle, ensuring flawless planning, communication, and execution with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analyze market trends, performance metrics, and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Drive innovation in event programming, continuously enhancing offerings to meet the evolving expectations of luxury clientele.
  • Ensure all proposals, contracts, and presentations reflect the highest level of professionalism, creativity, and brand alignment.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the hotel within the community and at industry events, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in luxury hospitality.
