We are conducting a search for a General Manager to lead a high-volume operation in Southwest Florida. This role is responsible for full operational oversight, financial performance, team leadership, and execution of daily standards across the business. This is a hands on leadership position for someone who is comfortable managing both people and performance in a fast paced environment.
Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the operation, including profitability, team development, guest experience, and execution of standards. This individual will lead from the floor, ensuring consistency across all departments while maintaining strong financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all areas of the business
- Ensure consistent execution of service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
- Maintain strong floor presence during peak business periods
- Monitor opening and closing procedures to ensure consistency
- Manage full P&L responsibility
- Develop and execute operating budgets
- Control labor, cost of goods, and other key expenses
- Analyze reports including forecasting, margins, and inventory performance
- Recruit, hire, and develop management and hourly team members
- Build a strong leadership bench within the operation
- Lead training initiatives focused on product knowledge and guest engagement
- Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and professionalism
- Oversee product mix, merchandising, and presentation standards
- Ensure proper inventory controls and product rotation
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and product positioning
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through visible leadership
- Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure team members are knowledgeable and engaged with guests
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
- Uphold safety, sanitation, and operational standards
Qualifications
- 5 plus years of senior level management experience in a high volume environment
- Background in restaurant, specialty retail, grocery, or food driven operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
