Title of Position – Restaurant General Manager

Job Description: We are searching for a Restaurant General Manager who will provide strong leadership and is customer service oriented. A Professional Restaurant General Manager must exercise knowledge of all restaurant operations, manage staff resources, mentor, develop and coach team members and help to build sales and profits while maintaining operating standards. The ideal candidate should be able to manage the human resource functions in the restaurant ensuring recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling and performance management functions, meet or exceed company specified criteria. Leading by example, the Restaurant General Manager complies with company policies, practices and procedures and communicates all changes to team members. A Professional Restaurant General Manager understands the Profit and Loss Statement and helps create action plans for opportunity areas as well as ensures the overall food quality and handling, safety, security, service and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications:

• The Restaurant General Manager should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation
• The Restaurant General Manager must live by a guest-oriented philosophy and show honesty and integrity in all things
• A solid track record in achieving financial results is a must for the Restaurant General Manager
• A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Restaurant General Manager
• The Restaurant General Manager must have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 3 years
