Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 base PLUS 20% monthly bonus potential


Job Summary

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our Fargo, North Dakota restaurant. You will be responsible for the location's financial success, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding all health and safety standards. This role requires a strong leader with a hospitality mindset, who can deliver high-quality food and excellent service. Your primary focus will be to create a supportive environment that inspires your team to succeed and drives our growth in Fargo, North Dakota.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise all restaurant staff, including Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers.
  • Interview, hire, and train new crew members to build a strong operational team.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and task delegation for all employees.
  • Provide constructive, timely performance evaluations and ongoing coaching.
  • Manage employee discipline and terminations according to company policy.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members by providing the tools, training, and follow-up needed to achieve maximum performance.
  • Train and develop staff while providing clear direction to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Address and resolve operational problems across all shifts to build trusting relationships.
  • Escalate complex employee relations matters to Human Resources when necessary.
  • Implement an ongoing culture of recognition and appreciation within the restaurant.
  • Meet the highest standards for customer service, satisfaction, and sales efforts.
  • Ensure the restaurant meets all guest standards and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Maximize positive customer experiences, top-line sales, and bottom-line profits.
  • Manage all financial controllables using automated tracking systems. This includes managing labor, overtime, food costs, and supplies, as well as handling cash and deposits according to company standards.
  • Maintain and protect all physical and financial company assets.
  • Enforce strict food safety behaviors and sanitation standards.
  • Follow proper opening, closing, safety, and security procedures, including preventive maintenance programs.
  • Analyze business traffic patterns to plan efficient and effective shift schedules.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong ability to multitask and remain self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid financial analysis skills to manage restaurant budgets and controllables.
  • Great attitude with a highly customer-oriented personality.
  • Strong talent management and performance coaching skills.
  • Deep understanding of and passion for food and beverage operations.
  • SERV Safe certification preferred. We will provide SERV Safe training if you are not currently certified.


Experience Requirements

  • Fast Food General Management: 2 years required.
  • Traditional Fast Food Experience: 5 years required.
  • Proven experience managing Drive-Thru operations.
  • Experience with New Store Openings is a plus.
  • Background in training and developing team members.
  • Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems, MS Office, and automated tracking systems (HRIS/ATS) to manage labor, food, and supplies.
