Restaurant Manager – Upscale Casual Dining

Salary: $58,000–$65,000 + Bonus Potential + Benefits

A well-established upscale casual restaurant in Wichita is seeking a strong Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys high-volume service, polished guest experiences, team development, and strong operational standards.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who can lead from the floor, support both service and bar operations, coach hourly team members, and help drive a culture built on hospitality, accountability, urgency, and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible with guests and employees while helping manage the pace of a busy full-service restaurant.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations in a high-volume upscale casual restaurant
• Support service, bar, host, and dining room execution during peak business periods
• Coach, train, and develop hourly team members to deliver consistent guest experiences
• Maintain strong standards for hospitality, cleanliness, service timing, and table management
• Assist with scheduling, labor control, inventory, cash handling, and shift planning
• Handle guest concerns professionally and create solutions that protect the guest experience
• Partner with culinary and senior leadership to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH
• Help build a positive team culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and hospitality

Restaurant Manager Qualifications

• Current or recent Restaurant Manager, Service Manager, Assistant Manager, Bar Manager, or full-service hospitality leadership experience
• Experience in full-service, upscale casual, polished casual, or high-volume restaurant environments
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
• Comfortable leading busy shifts and maintaining standards under pressure
• Solid understanding of labor control, guest service systems, sales building, and operational execution
• Bar, beverage, or alcohol-driven restaurant experience is a plus
