Title of Position: Hotel Restaurant General Manager 

Job Description: The Hotel Restaurant General Manager oversees every facet of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and appropriate staffing to satisfy guest needs. Their responsibility is to hire, train, and motivate staff to deliver the best service possible to all guests. The Hotel Restaurant General Manager works closely with the hotel's management team to develop the restaurant's annual operating budget and control all profit and loss centers, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs. Additionally, they operate the business in accordance with the company's policies and appropriate laws and regulations. The Hotel Restaurant General Manager works with all other department heads to ensure that operations are running as smoothly as possible and that guest expectations are exceeded. Success in this position requires excellent leadership and communication skills, with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry's best practices. The ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and prioritize competing demands is essential. Above all, the Hotel Restaurant General Manager is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards.

Qualifications: 

• The Hotel Restaurant General Manager must have 3-5 years proven successful restaurant management experience 
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary for the Restaurant General Manager 
• The Restaurant General Manager must have the ability to analyze financials 
• The Hotel Restaurant General Manager must have 3 years of F&B Experience, preferably in hotels 
• The Hotel Restaurant General Manager should always make themselves available to the restaurant
