Title of Position: Catering Manager

Job Description: The Catering Manager owns the full catering operation, from first client inquiry to final plate. You'll plan and execute on-site and off-site events, manage client relationships, and coordinate menus with the culinary team to deliver consistent quality at every function. This role carries real financial responsibility, including event budgeting, food and labor cost control, and pricing that protects margins. Our Catering Manager sets sales goals and works the plan to hit them, building new accounts while keeping current clients loyal. You'll lead staffing and execution for each event, all while holding the line on safety, sanitation, and service standards.

Qualifications

  • The Catering Manager must have two years of catering or banquet experience in a full-service, moderate to high-volume environment.
  • A solid track record of success in previous roles, showing upward career progression, is a must for the Catering Manager
  • The Catering Manager must possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships with confidence.
  • Proven sales ability, with a knack for growing accounts and closing new business, is essential for this role
  • Catering Managers need to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • The Catering Manager must grasp, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs as needed, have finger and hand dexterity to operate kitchen equipment, and withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat in confined areas.
