Title of Position: Food & Beverage Manager 

Job Responsibilities: The Food & Beverage Manager position involves leading and managing the food and beverage division of the business. The primary responsibility is to establish goals for the division, analyze financial reports, anticipate trends, and come up with profit-oriented and cost-saving ideas and activities. The focus of this position is ensuring a high level of performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability by leading and developing an exceptional team of food and beverage professionals. Interviewing, hiring, training, and developing staff, evaluating food and beverage staff, and handling disciplinary and counseling actions when necessary are also responsibilities. Success in this role requires possessing excellent leadership and communication skills, with a deep understanding of hospitality industry best practices and operational standards. Managing budgets, allocating resources effectively, and prioritizing competing demands are essential to success as a Food & Beverage Manager. Passion for culinary excellence, creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high standards are critical to building and maintaining strong relationships with guests and team members. Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges are also necessary to succeed in this role. Qualifications: 

• The Food & Beverage Manager must possess strong knowledge of food, methods of food preparation, alcoholic beverages, trends in both food and alcoholic beverages, and be able to help develop menus from this knowledge 
• The Food & Beverage Manager must have the ability to compose and express thoughts clearly and understandably to ensure effective communications 
• The Food & Beverage Manager must possess proficiency in preparing clear, legible handwritten and typed reports 
• The Food & Beverage Manager must have sufficient mathematical skills to prepare forecasts, budgets, and reports, calculate food, beverage and labor costs, etc.
