What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a well established casual dining restaurant and bar in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This is a hands on leadership role for an operator who runs a floor well, builds a team that stays, and treats the restaurant as their own business.

The right candidate brings full service restaurant management experience and is comfortable owning both front of house service standards and the operational side of the building. Strong communication, a steady presence during peak volume, and genuine hospitality instincts matter more here than a specific brand background.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across front and back of house
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain hourly team members and shift leaders
• Own the guest experience and hold service standards on every shift
• Manage scheduling and labour against operational targets
• Control food and beverage cost through ordering, inventory, and waste management
• Drive sales performance and execute local marketing and promotional initiatives
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation compliance to provincial standards
• Handle guest recovery directly and use the feedback to correct issues at the source
• Review daily and weekly financial results and act on the variances
• Build a bench of internal candidates ready for promotion
• Uphold brand standards and operating procedures consistently
