A well-established, independently owned restaurant and bar is searching for its next General Manager. Now in its second decade, the concept centers on wood-fired pizza, smoked wings, scratch-made salads, and a full bar with local and regional craft beer and wine. A recent move into a larger, custom-built space in a historic downtown added live music and expanded event capacity.

The restaurant draws a loyal local and visitor following, built on food, hospitality, and atmosphere. Ownership is hands-on and looking for a General Manager to run daily operations and grow its reputation further.

What You'll Do

• Own full P&L: budgeting, forecasting, labor and cost control, profitability
• Hire, train, and lead a front- and back-of-house team; set the tone for hospitality and culture
• Oversee the beverage program alongside the kitchen and bar teams
• Maintain food safety, health, and liquor licensing compliance
• Manage scheduling, inventory, vendor relationships, and daily readiness
• Plan and run live music nights, private events, and seasonal programming
• Serve as the face of the restaurant for guests, staff, and the community
• Partner directly with ownership on the restaurant's direction

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a full-service restaurant with a bar program; casual or upscale-casual preferred
• Scratch-kitchen experience; wood-fired pizza a strong plus
• Working knowledge of craft beer and wine a plus
• ServSafe certified, or willing to obtain
• A hands-on, visible leadership style suited to a small, close-knit team
• Genuine interest in small-town living; candidates relocating from larger markets welcome
