Location:Riverside, CA
Position: Full Time | On Site

Training: Local training provided in Downey or Arcadia, CA
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-energy, family-focused entertainment venue.
This is not a traditional restaurant or retail management position. The General Manager operates the location as a business, taking ownership of revenue, P&L performance, team development, guest experience, safety, labor, events, and overall operational execution.
The concept provides an immersive, screen-free entertainment experience centered around large-scale inflatable attractions where kids and families can play, celebrate, and spend time together.
We are looking for a hands-on business leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and knows how to build a strong team while delivering measurable financial and operational results.
Position Overview
The General Manager serves as the senior leader of the location and is responsible for the overall performance of the business.
You will lead a team of approximately 20 to 50 employees, including Assistant Managers, Leads, Coordinators, and frontline team members.
This position requires someone who can move comfortably between strategic business management and hands-on leadership. You should be just as comfortable reviewing a P&L and analyzing labor as you are walking the operation, coaching employees, interacting with families, and solving problems in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 to 50 employees
• Develop Assistant Managers, Leads, Coordinators, and future leaders
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, evaluations, and performance management
• Establish clear expectations and maintain accountability
• Build a positive, energetic, and performance-driven culture
• Serve as the senior Manager on Duty
• Recognize strong performance and create opportunities for employee development
Guest Experience
• Create an exceptional experience for children, families, and event guests
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the operation
• Ensure guest service standards are consistently achieved
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
• Maintain strong guest satisfaction and online review performance
• Ensure birthday parties and special events are executed successfully
Revenue & Business Performance
• Take ownership of location-level P&L performance
• Drive revenue across admissions, birthday parties, merchandise, events, and additional revenue channels
• Manage labor budgets and operating expenses
• Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans based on results
• Forecast business needs and adjust staffing and operations accordingly
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability
• Help team members understand how their performance contributes to overall business results
Local Sales & Community Engagement
• Support local marketing initiatives and community outreach
• Identify opportunities to increase awareness and visitation
• Build relationships within the surrounding community
• Support group events, birthday parties, and other revenue-generating programs
• Partner with marketing resources to execute local campaigns
Operations & Facility Management
• Oversee daily opening, operating, and closing procedures
• Maintain strong cleanliness and presentation standards
• Manage inventory and vendor relationships
• Coordinate maintenance requests and equipment needs
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on anticipated business volume
• Maintain accurate operational reporting and documentation
Safety & Compliance
Safety is a critical component of this position.
The General Manager will:
• Oversee employee safety training
• Maintain emergency response readiness
• Ensure required safety procedures are consistently followed
• Monitor attractions and facility conditions
• Address potential safety concerns immediately
• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace and company safety standards
• Complete and review operational and incident reports
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of General Manager or comparable senior management experience
• Experience leading a high-volume, customer-facing operation
• Background in family entertainment, attractions, hospitality, restaurants, fitness, retail, events, or similar businesses preferred
• Experience leading teams of 20+ employees
• Strong P&L and financial management experience
• Experience managing labor, budgets, inventory, and operating expenses
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve performance targets
• Strong coaching and employee development skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using POS, reporting, scheduling, and Microsoft Office systems
• Ability to work in an energetic, fast-moving environment
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods
How Success Is Measured
Success in this position will be measured across several areas, including:
• Revenue growth

Training

Training will be completed locally at an established location in either Downey or Arcadia, California.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $70,000 to $85,000, based on experience
Bonus: Performance-based bonus opportunity
Benefits include:
• Medical insurance with up to 50% employer contribution
• Paid time off, up to 3 weeks annually

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven operator who wants to run a business rather than simply manage a shift.
You'll have ownership of the people, guest experience, financial performance, safety, sales, and day-to-day execution of the location while working within a growing family entertainment concept.
For a leader who enjoys building teams, driving revenue, managing a P&L, and creating memorable experiences for families, this role provides an opportunity to make a measurable impact and continue growing into higher levels of leadership.
