As Executive Chef, you will own the back-of-house. You are responsible for driving food quality, kitchen culture, operational consistency, and team development. We are looking for a calm, confident leader who thrives under pressure, builds a positive and disciplined kitchen, and is passionate about scratch cooking and genuine hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and oversee all BOH operations, including daily food production for the main dining room and bar.

·       Recruit, train, and mentor the culinary team, including direct development of the Sous Chef.

·       Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to build skills and accountability.

·       Cross-train team members across all stations to expand knowledge, improve versatility, and strengthen the team.

·       Oversee and participate in butchering, portioning, and quality control on every shift.

·       Establish and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, organization, and food safety.

·       Own staffing for the kitchen — conduct interviews and hire to maintain optimal coverage and team strength.

·       Manage ordering for produce, seafood, and all major food categories while controlling cost and waste.

·       Execute bi-weekly inventory collaboratively with the management team.

·       Partner closely with Front-of-House and management team to ensure seamless service and guest experience.

Qualifications

·       2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment

·       Strong hands-on butchery and protein fabrication skills — required

·       True scratch kitchen background strongly preferred

·       Warm, professional leadership style with a passion for the industry

·       Excellent communication and team-building abilities

·       Proven ability to stay composed, organized, and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure service

·       Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to professional standards and appearance

Compensation & Benefits

·       Competitive total compensation of $90,000 - $95,000 with performance-driven bonus upside

·       Bonus potential paid bi-weekly when goals are achieved

·       Comprehensive training and onboarding program

·       3 weeks of paid time off per year

·       401(k) with company match

·       Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

·       Significant growth opportunities with new restaurant openings

·       Work-life balance: Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with early closure on Christmas Eve
