Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Restaurant Assistant General Manager to support the daily operations of our upscale dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for delivering an extraordinary dining experience. This role involves assisting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, ensuring that both guests and staff thrive in a vibrant and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
  • Monitor guest feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Manage reservations and guest flow to optimize seating arrangements and minimize wait times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote special events and seasonal offerings.
  • Support the General Manager in budget preparation, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial performance and implement effective cost-control measures.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development and wine pairing.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
