Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Location: Queens, NY

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations and support the management team at one of the busiest and most exciting locations in New York. This role requires a strong leader with excellent operational skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team. The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth operational performance, improving efficiency, and meeting financial and service goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the establishment, ensuring a high standard of service and hospitality.
Supervise, train, and develop team members to meet company standards, foster a positive work environment, and drive employee engagement.
Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies that increase operational efficiency, improve guest satisfaction, and drive revenue.
Monitor inventory levels, manage product ordering, and ensure stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly, maintaining a focus on delivering excellent service.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to meet profitability goals.
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring the team is properly staffed to meet operational needs.
Maintain clear communication with the management team, providing regular updates on performance and key metrics.
Ensure the facility is maintained to high cleanliness and safety standards, adhering to all sanitation and operational guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality or foodservice industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Experience in inventory management and supply chain processes.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of airport operations and regulations is a plus, but not required.
