Title of Position: Sous Chef
Job Description: The Sous Chef must bring a positive attitude to work every day and set high standards for everyone around them. The Sous Chef will be able to delegate with enthusiasm and a “can do “attitude. We promote new ideas and fresh perspectives, where our management professionals are encouraged to bring their own ideas to the table. Interpersonal skills and guest relations will be required to handle and resolve any staff or guest conflicts appropriately. The General Manager will know how to create a strong and effective team and guide them towards a common goal. The Sous Chef must be customer service oriented as well as have a strong ability to execute administrative procedures and financial responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of restaurant Sous Chef experience in a high-volume atmosphere is a must for the Sous Chef
- The Sous Chef must have flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- A requirement for the Sous chef is a true passion for the development and mentoring of others
- The Sous chef must be fluent in English
- The Sous chef must have strong computer skills and knowledge of Open Table and Compeat, Aloha, Excel, payroll software, timekeeping, and Word
- The Sous chef must be proficient in achieving solid financial results and understand financial statements
- Honesty, integrity and a love for customer service are all qualities that the sous chef should possess
- The Sous chef should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation
