A popular, high-energy Asian restaurant specializing in teppanyaki and interactive dining experiences is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations and drive continued success. This is a full-service, high-volume concept known for its theatrical dining style, lively ambiance, and strong community following. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a hands-on approach, a deep understanding of hospitality operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires strong team management skills, business acumen, and the ability to create a positive, performance-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including FOH and BOH coordination, staffing, scheduling, and guest satisfaction
  • Lead by example in setting and upholding high service and hospitality standards
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor team members to ensure performance, engagement, and retention
  • Monitor and control labor, inventory, and cost of goods to meet or exceed financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Drive local marketing efforts, community engagement, and guest loyalty programs
  • Analyze daily/weekly sales reports and respond strategically to operational trends
  • Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure food quality, consistency, and timely execution
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and follow through to resolution
  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture that supports accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or equivalent role
  • Experience in high-volume, full-service dining—Asian cuisine or teppanyaki concept experience is a plus
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong knowledge of P&L management, cost controls, and operational reporting
  • Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling tools
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
