Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a high-energy, sports-focused restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong operational knowledge, and the ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
  • Lead and motivate staff to maintain high standards in food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support hiring, training, and development of team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and manage labor, food, and beverage costs to meet financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Handle guest concerns and feedback professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering to maintain proper stock levels and control waste.
  • Ensure proper execution of promotions, events, and seasonal menu offerings.
  • Act as manager-on-duty in the absence of the General Manager.
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in a fast-paced, full-service or casual dining environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and thrive under pressure.
  • Knowledge of restaurant financials including P&L, labor, and inventory management.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe and/or alcohol safety certification preferred.
