Job Title: Kitchen Manager
Location: Sloatsburg, NY

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations for a busy, full-service restaurant in Sloatsburg, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, proven leadership skills, and experience in high-volume scratch kitchens. This individual will be responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing staff, and overseeing inventory and food costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed of service
Lead, train, and schedule back-of-house staff to meet performance and productivity goals
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment in line with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and FOH management on menu execution and seasonal specials
Manage food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure proper stock levels and cost control
Monitor and analyze food and labor costs, adjusting procedures as needed to meet budget targets
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
Coach and develop team members to foster a positive and efficient kitchen culture
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for kitchen team members

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Lead Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in kitchen scheduling, inventory management, and food cost control
ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Passion for culinary excellence and team development
