Restaurant Manager – Staten Island, NY

A well-established, high-volume Asian-fusion restaurant in Staten Island is seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming guest environment
  • Lead, train, and coach FOH team members to uphold high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to maintain communication and service coordination between FOH and BOH
  • Manage staff scheduling, floor coverage, and labor control to align with business volume and budgets
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations to build a strong, dependable team
  • Execute daily opening and closing procedures and maintain proper cash handling protocols
  • Support special events, group dining, and promotions to enhance guest engagement and revenue
  • Report directly to the General Manager and assist in driving key performance metrics
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume or Asian cuisine concept
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire team collaboration and accountability
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in POS systems and restaurant operations software
  • Deep understanding of guest service, food and beverage operations, and labor management
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
