Restaurant Manager – Staten Island, NY

A well-established, high-volume Asian-fusion restaurant in Staten Island is seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming guest environment
Lead, train, and coach FOH team members to uphold high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism
Collaborate with kitchen leadership to maintain communication and service coordination between FOH and BOH
Manage staff scheduling, floor coverage, and labor control to align with business volume and budgets
Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations to build a strong, dependable team
Execute daily opening and closing procedures and maintain proper cash handling protocols
Support special events, group dining, and promotions to enhance guest engagement and revenue
Report directly to the General Manager and assist in driving key performance metrics

Qualifications:

2–4 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume or Asian cuisine concept
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire team collaboration and accountability
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in POS systems and restaurant operations software
Deep understanding of guest service, food and beverage operations, and labor management
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
