Restaurant Manager – Staten Island, NY
A well-established, high-volume Asian-fusion restaurant in Staten Island is seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming guest environment
- Lead, train, and coach FOH team members to uphold high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership to maintain communication and service coordination between FOH and BOH
- Manage staff scheduling, floor coverage, and labor control to align with business volume and budgets
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations to build a strong, dependable team
- Execute daily opening and closing procedures and maintain proper cash handling protocols
- Support special events, group dining, and promotions to enhance guest engagement and revenue
- Report directly to the General Manager and assist in driving key performance metrics
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume or Asian cuisine concept
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire team collaboration and accountability
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in POS systems and restaurant operations software
- Deep understanding of guest service, food and beverage operations, and labor management
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
