A growing hospitality group based in Staten Island, NY is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the financial operations of multiple restaurant locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting experience in the hospitality industry who is looking to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily and monthly accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Support payroll processing and tip reporting in coordination with HR and Operations.
Reconcile bank statements and POS system reports across multiple locations.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and internal reports.
Help maintain and organize financial records for audits and tax preparation.
Collaborate with senior accountants and operations managers to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial policies.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of accounting experience; restaurant or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant365, or similar).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
