Catering & Events Manager – Sloatsburg, NY

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Catering & Events Manager to lead our catering and special events operations in Sloatsburg, NY. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and experience planning and executing high-quality events.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute catering orders, private parties, and special events from start to finish.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, create customized menus, and ensure event expectations are met.
Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to ensure flawless execution of food and beverage service.
Manage event logistics, including staffing, scheduling, setup, and breakdown.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of event materials.
Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure events are executed within financial parameters.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for catering and events.
Promote catering services through client outreach, community engagement, and digital marketing as needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in catering, events management, or hospitality, preferably in a restaurant or banquet setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
Knowledge of event planning software, POS systems, and budget management.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
