Position Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a positive team culture. This role provides leadership across front-of-house and back-of-house operations, drives service and quality standards, and ensures the restaurant operates efficiently, safely, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams to deliver outstanding hospitality and consistent service standards.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and shift execution.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage labor, food, and operating costs to achieve financial goals and maintain profitability.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure product quality and cost control.
  • Analyze sales, labor, and operational reports to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with ownership and leadership on budgeting, marketing initiatives, and operational strategies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, including full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Proven experience in high-volume, full-service restaurant environments.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, labor laws, and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
