General Manager – High-End Dessert & Café Concept

Bronxville, NY

A growing, high-traffic dessert and café-style restaurant in Bronxville, NY is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of operations, drive business performance, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing both front- and back-of-house teams, and ensuring smooth service execution from opening through closing. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong financial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily restaurant operations including FOH and BOH performance
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on service excellence
Manage P&L, budgets, labor costs, and overall financial performance
Drive sales growth through service execution, guest engagement, and local marketing initiatives
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and service standards across all shifts
Hire, train, and retain team members while building a strong workplace culture
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Handle guest relations, resolving concerns with professionalism and urgency
Develop and implement systems, SOPs, and operational best practices

Qualifications:

3–5+ years of restaurant general management experience in a high-volume environment
Strong understanding of financials including P&L management and cost controls
Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-driven environment
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
