Director of Operations – Glassboro, NJ

Position Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing multi-unit restaurant performance, driving operational consistency, and achieving strong financial results across all locations. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can build high-performing teams, implement scalable systems, and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistency in service, food quality, and brand standards
Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers and management teams to drive accountability and performance
Analyze financial performance, including P&L, labor, and food costs, and implement strategies to improve profitability
Establish and enforce operational systems, processes, and best practices to support efficiency and scalability
Drive revenue growth through local marketing initiatives, operational improvements, and guest experience enhancements
Conduct regular site visits to evaluate performance, coach teams, and ensure execution of company standards
Oversee staffing strategies, including recruiting, training, and retention across all locations
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Partner with ownership and senior leadership on strategic planning, expansion, and new store openings
Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve overall performance

Qualifications:

7+ years of restaurant management experience, including multi-unit leadership
Proven track record of managing multiple P&Ls and driving financial performance
Strong leadership and team development skills in a high-volume environment
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing organization
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and local health regulations
Willingness to travel between locations as needed
