Salary: Up to $95,000

An upscale, high-volume steakhouse in the Marlboro, NJ area is seeking an experienced and polished General Manager to lead all aspects of operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for a hospitality professional who thrives in a refined dining environment and is driven by delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee full restaurant operations, including front-of-house, bar, and overall guest experience
Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing management and service team
Maintain elevated service standards consistent with an upscale steakhouse environment
Drive guest satisfaction, resolve concerns proactively, and build a strong base of repeat clientele
Manage labor, scheduling, and payroll to align with financial targets
Oversee P&L performance, including cost controls, inventory, and vendor relationships
Partner with culinary leadership to ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards
Execute local marketing initiatives, events, and community engagement strategies
Analyze financial and operational reports to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

5+ years of General Manager or senior leadership experience in an upscale or polished casual restaurant
Strong background in steakhouse or high-end dining preferred
Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales, and manage full financial performance
High-level service standards with attention to detail and guest experience
Experience with POS systems, labor management, and cost controls
Professional presence with strong communication and leadership skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
