We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of three mid-scale properties, totaling approximately 300 keys. As all properties are situated in close proximity to one another, this role presents a unique opportunity to lead and support operations across multiple brands. This is an exciting time to join our team, as we plan to expand in 2028 with a new dual-property development. We envision this individual playing a key support role in this highly anticipated opening, offering a chance to make a lasting impact on our growing organization.
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Director of Operations to oversee daily activities, financial performance, and guest satisfaction across three mid-scale hotel brands. This role supports and works closely with the General Manager, VP of Operations, and department heads to ensure operational excellence, alignment with brand standards, and optimal revenue performance. The ideal candidate will lead by example, inspire teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across all properties, including Sales, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.
- Financial Performance: Drive profitability by managing budgets, reducing costs, and achieving revenue targets.
- Guest Experience: Implement strategies to meet or exceed guest satisfaction (GSS) and quality assurance scores for all brands.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff while overseeing HR activities to ensure equitable treatment and compliance with company policies.
- Brand Standards: Ensure strict adherence to brand standards and policies, acting as a liaison between hotels and corporate offices.
- Owner/Corporate Relations: Provide regular performance reports and ROI updates to stakeholders.
- Experience: Proven management experience in all aspects of hotel operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and sales. Experience with major brands like Marriott or Hilton is a strong asset.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and align teams across different service cultures.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial reports and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Flexibility: Capable of managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure.
- Proactive Mindset: A collaborative leader who is eager, humble, and confident in offering thoughtful advice or changes.
- Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 + Bonus, Health Benefits, 3 Weeks Paid Vacation
