Job Title: Assistant Manager – Casual Steakhouse Concept (Los Angeles & Montebello Locations)
Position Overview:
Our team is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to support our operations at our DTLA and Montebello locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a background in fast casual environments and substantial experience working in back-of-house operations. The DTLA location requires a bilingual candidate fluent in both English and Spanish, while the Montebello location is seeking a non-bilingual manager.
This is a non-exempt, hourly role with a guaranteed minimum of 50 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance, as most locations close before 10 p.m. The position offers competitive pay, a lucrative bonus package, and robust benefits.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay of $23–$24, with a guaranteed 50+ hours weekly

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Provide hands-on management of back-of-house activities, including kitchen cleanliness, food prep, and safety compliance.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and ongoing development to ensure excellent customer service.
- Oversee staff schedules, inventory, and supply orders to maintain efficient operations and control costs.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are consistently met, including proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues promptly to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Assist in training new team members and managers, fostering a positive culture focused on teamwork and restaurant excellence.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to meet sales goals and improve operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fast casual or casual dining restaurant operations, with a strong focus on back-of-house management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
- For the DTLA location: bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- For the Montebello location: fluent in English, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of food safety, inventory management, and basic financial controls.
- Enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
