Austin is a hospitality recruiter who draws on over a decade of hands-on operational leadership. His career began in the back-of-house, working his way from Sauté Chef to Sous Chef in a high-volume mountain lodge, and ultimately to General Manager of a flagship restaurant featuring a complex 145-item menu.

Having navigated the pressures of service from the line to the GM office, Austin understands firsthand how a single strategic hire can transform a restaurant’s culture and performance. He is now dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with visionary operators, driven by a mission to improve the lives and careers of hospitality professionals.

His insider perspective is further informed by self-arranging over a dozen of stagière (working guest) experiences in acclaimed establishments nationwide—from the difficult environment of Restaurant Guy Savoy in Las Vegas to the culture-forward NoMad in New York. This journey has given him a comprehensive view of the industry’s “good, bad, and ugly,” equipping him to fill niche roles and address complex cultural fits with confidence.

(Outside of recruitment, Austin channels his dedication into environmental stewardship, having led a nonprofit project that removed thousands of pounds of litter from wild areas.)
