Tanya L. Franken is a seasoned professional in hospitality with over 15 years in the industry. As Corporate Director of Hotel Operations & Revenue Management at Plaza and Las Vegas Club Casino and Hotel, she was responsible for all third-party relationships related to the hotel division and coordinated hotel operations.
She’s also had an impactful tenure as Director of Hotel Operations at Harrah’s and Imperial Palace Casino and Resort, where she coordinated all hotel departments, impacting over 5,000 guestrooms and suites. Tanya’s leadership skills have been recognized throughout her career, including being the 2007 Harrah’s Entertainment Western Division Emerging Leader and the 2006 Chairman’s Award Winner for Superior Team – GO Rooms. With her Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado and her extensive experience, Tanya has proven herself to be a dynamic leader in the hospitality industry.
Outside of work, Tanya cherishes her leisure moments at a Texas ranch, accompanied by her two schnauzers, Tucker and Oliver, along with nine head of cattle, each bearing a name. She places these cherished beings in her life in that precise order, followed by her husband, Jay. Additionally, Tanya delights in hosting family gatherings and intimate get-togethers with close friends and neighbors, further enriching her life outside the office.
