Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing housekeeping in a similar capacity, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Demonstrated Patience - Calm Demeanor.
- Excellent Organization Skills and Follow Through.
- Excellent understanding of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour, and Health laws.
- Ability to effectively train and develop a motivated housekeeping team.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Bilingual is a PLUS.
Job Responsibilities: As the executive Executive Housekeeper in Tucson, AZ, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations. You will:
- Manage the operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring top quality standards are met consistently.
- Maintain cost control systems for linen and cleaning supplies, ensuring appropriate inventory levels.
- Develop systems for inspecting and managing the quality of services provided.
- Schedule staff efficiently according to productivity standards and occupancy forecasts.
- Compile and report on housekeeping activities and expenses; provide status updates on guest rooms.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop housekeeping staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop the department’s annual budget; monitor and report variances against the plan.
- Respond promptly to guest requests in a friendly manner and ensure their satisfaction.
- Present a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Conduct training sessions on safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines.
- Act as Manager on Duty as needed.
