Title of Position: Director of Natural

Compensation: $120k to $140k plus relocation allowance.

Job Description: As the Director of Natural, you will oversee all aspects of sales and merchandising for natural foods and products across the company’s grocery stores and affiliated markets. Your responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets, crafting merchandising plans that align with customer needs and company vision and maintaining a product assortment that reflects market trends and preferences. You will implement pricing strategies, promotional activities, and quality control measures to ensure products meet high standards for freshness, appearance, and safety. Additionally, you’ll manage inventory levels to minimize waste, foster strong relationships with suppliers for competitive pricing and reliable delivery, and analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Regularly visiting competitors and staying attuned to customer trends will help you adapt strategies as needed. You will work closely with store management, other departments, and the executive team to align initiatives with company goals, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food standards while fostering a company culture driven by mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications:

·      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and make quick, effective decisions.

·      Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships internally and externally while leading and mentoring teams.

·      Proficiency in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments, and utilizing tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
