Restaurant Training & Systems Manager – Multi Concept
Location: Boston

Key Responsibilities
- Develop Comprehensive Training Programs
- Create and implement structured training initiatives for front-of-house (FOH), back-of-house (BOH), and e-commerce operations to ensure team members are prepared to excel in their roles.
- Manage and Optimize Learning Platforms
- Maintain and update our Kiwi learning management system (LMS) with new content, standard operating procedures (SOPs), certification paths, and micro-training videos to support continuous development.
- Oversee Checklist Implementation
- Roll out Jolt checklist software for daily operations, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring consistent utilization across all locations.
- Facilitate Train-the-Trainer Sessions
- Equip restaurant managers and e-commerce leaders with the tools and knowledge to train their teams effectively, enabling scalable solutions within the business.
- Enhance Team Engagement Through Daily Meetings
- Develop and implement structured pre-shift meetings to reinforce priorities, service standards, and safety practices in all departments.
- Create High-Impact Micro-Training Resources
- Build a library of concise lessons to deliver during pre-shift meetings or throughout the day, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, and kitchen techniques.
- Audit Performance and Drive Compliance
- Utilize LMS and Jolt data to monitor training and procedural success. Conduct regular performance reviews and in-store or kitchen audits to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate on Process Improvements
- Work closely with culinary and operations leadership to refine processes, identify training gaps, and enhance team efficiency.
- Streamline the Onboarding Experience
- Assist in onboarding new hires and standardize the process to create a seamless new employee experience across all divisions.
- Measure Success Through KPIs
- Develop and implement a system for tracking progress using key performance indicators to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or foodservice training, operations, or management.
- Proven expertise in creating and managing operational systems, with a strong focus on system development (minimum 3 years required).
- Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Kiwi and checklist/task management tools like Jolt.
- Proven ability to lead training programs for FOH and BOH teams; e-commerce or production kitchen experience is a bonus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience creating training content and coaching others to teach effectively.
- Demonstrated success in leading pre-shift meetings or similar team engagement activities.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Open availability, including days, nights, and weekends.
