Job Qualifications

To thrive in the General Manager position the following qualifications are required:

• Must be 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proven leadership with 4+ years of operations experience, ideally in food service or hospitality.
• Strong business acumen with excellent math skills; proficiency with Point of Sale systems.
• Clear communication skills in the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s customer base.
• Ability to lead by example and adapt to a fast-paced schedule of 50-55 hours/week, standing for extended periods if needed.

Job Responsibilities

The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and strategy while driving team morale, maintaining top-tier service, and nurturing guest connections. Located at a prime location in the heart of Charlotte, NC, the General Manager will:

• Consistently deliver outstanding service by ensuring all guests feel welcomed.
• Build, mentor, and lead a productive team through superior training and example-setting in all roles.
• Assume full ownership of product quality, service consistency, and guest satisfaction.
• Develop marketing strategies tailored to the local community while building relationships within the area, such as nonprofits and businesses.
• Oversee staffing, ensuring adequate scheduling while adhering to labor budget benchmarks.
• Stay organizationally sound by completing all paperwork, team evaluations, and administrative tasks punctually.
• Maintain financial controls, including monitoring sales, costs, and cash reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations at all times.
• Uphold equipment standards, conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity, safety, and fun for all employees.
