Title of Position: Executive Chef


Job Description: As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations at our resort. This includes creating and updating menus to maximize profits, testing and developing recipes, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining inventory, and adhering to governmental regulations. You will also have the opportunity to grow your career through cross-training opportunities and talent development programs. Additionally, you will oversee a team of chefs, cooks, and other staff members involved in food preparation. Your duties will also include actively communicating with guests to promote our food products and making decisions based on guest feedback for improvement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring staff performance and product quality while creating new menus and menu items. Your role will also involve ensuring a safe work environment and managing the resort's food budget. Overall, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the kitchen.

Qualifications:


· High school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years kitchen experience, including 1+ year in leadership managing finances, menus, and staff.


· Flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays


· Culinary degree preferred, with prior experience as an Executive Chef or in hotel/resort kitchens


· Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and maintaining a clean, safe food preparation environment


· Proven teamwork, professionalism, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude that inspires trust and confidence
