Your Role as Executive Chef
As our Executive Chef, you’ll lead culinary operations at a high-profile contract food service concept near Charlotte, NC. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact while earning a competitive salary of up to $75,000. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring recipes, portioning, and presentation meet our high standards.
- Planning and adjusting menus to reflect operational needs and culinary trends.
- Training and mentoring kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
- Managing inventory, controlling food and labor costs, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.
- Monitoring food quality and ensuring compliance with local health regulations.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years in a culinary leadership role, with proven expertise in high-volume cooking and catering.
- Skills: Strong understanding of food cost controls, kitchen operations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Certifications: ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Leadership: Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
