Job Description: Food & Beverage Manager

The Food & Beverage Manager collaborates with the SR. F&B Management team to oversee various aspects of management, including associate relations, recruitment, training, purchasing, inventory, payroll, and guest service. This role entails managing Hotel In-Room Dining, Breakfast, and Coffee Shop operations during peak service times to ensure exceptional guest service and provide support to associates. Working closely with senior F&B leadership, the Manager fosters a team of associates and contributes to the overall operational success.


Salary $60K - $70K


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings for assigned areas.
  2. Manage daily operations, including opening and closing duties.
  3. Conduct ongoing training programs for new and existing staff.
  4. Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Ensure service quality and consistency.
  6. Assist in planning and executing special events.
  7. Monitor food quality and consistency.
  8. Support recruiting, staffing, performance management, payroll, and scheduling efforts.
  9. Provide on-the-spot feedback to associates.
  10. Cultivate a positive work environment through setting standards and leading by example.
  11. Instruct employees on job expectations and responsibilities.
  12. Interact positively with customers to promote services.
  13. Foster harmonious relationships with all departments.
  14. Address and resolve guest complaints effectively.
  15. Enforce company policies and procedures for staff adherence.
  16. Understand and execute emergency procedures as required.
  17. Maintain flexibility for shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: College graduate or equivalent, BASSET Certification, Food Handler Certification.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a similar Hotel F&B management role, luxury hotel experience preferred, Micros Simphony proficiency preferred.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational abilities, proficient in Micros, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Open Schedule Flexibility, and ability to work PM shifts
