About the Opportunity

A high volume, guest focused seafood restaurant in Upland is seeking a General Manager to lead day to day operations and drive strong performance through exceptional service, team development, and consistent execution.

This is a hands on leadership role within a fast paced casual dining environment known for fresh, flavorful seafood and healthier menu options. The menu is seafood driven and includes grilled fish, shrimp, salmon, tacos, bowls, salads, and other clean, fresh items served in an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere.

This opportunity is ideal for a General Manager who leads from the floor, builds a strong culture, and takes pride in running a tight operation while keeping the guest experience the top priority.


Key Responsibilities


Restaurant Operations

• Oversee all daily operations and ensure smooth shift execution

• Maintain standards for cleanliness, food quality, speed of service, and hospitality

• Ensure consistent opening and closing procedures and daily checklists

• Monitor inventory, ordering, prep levels, and overall readiness for service

• Drive results through organization, urgency, and accountability


Guest Experience

• Lead the team in delivering friendly, fast, and accurate service

• Engage with guests and resolve concerns professionally

• Set the tone for hospitality and service standards across all shifts

• Maintain consistent quality and execution during peak service times


Hiring, Training, and Team Leadership

• Hire, train, coach, and develop a high performing team

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage scheduling needs

• Build a positive, respectful, and performance driven culture

• Hold team members accountable while maintaining morale and teamwork

• Develop hourly leaders and managers to support long term growth


Safety, Compliance, and Standards

• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and company policies are followed

• Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members

• Oversee proper cash handling, deposits, and operational controls

• Ensure compliance and training standards are met consistently
