About the Role
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing high-volume, full-service restaurant operations? We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee a thriving $4M–$6M+ food and beverage operation in Winchester, VA. This role requires a high degree of leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through a professional service and culinary team. As the General Manager, you will lead a team of FOH and BOH managers, ensuring seamless operations, outstanding service, and a vibrant bar program. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to take the reins of a dynamic, high-volume restaurant and bar.
Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of FOH and BOH managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver a high level of guest service by maintaining exceptional service standards and addressing guest feedback promptly.
  • Bar & Full-Service Expertise: Oversee the bar program and full-service dining operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage P&L, labor costs, food costs, and other key performance indicators to achieve financial goals.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with ownership and stakeholders to implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High-Volume Experience: 5+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant with bar operations ($4M–$6M+ annual sales).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop FOH and BOH managers and build a high-performing team.
  • Guest-Focused Mindset: A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of full-service restaurant and bar operations, including inventory management, labor cost control, and compliance.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance in a high-volume environment.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to resolving challenges and making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Hospitality Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for food, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $85,000
  • Total Income Potential: $110,000 (including bonuses and incentives)
