Senior Sales Manager

Group & Event Sales | Mid-West & Texas Territory

Full-Time | On-Site | Florida Base: $95,000–$100,000 | Targeted Total Compensation: $175,000–$225,000+


We are working with one of the most iconic resort properties in the country on an exclusive search. This is not a role for someone who needs to be handed a pipeline. This is for a closer who builds one.


You won't be cold calling strangers. You'll be nurturing relationships, engineering proposals, conducting site inspections that convert, and closing contracts on business that matters. The incentive plan is real, top performers earn well above base, and the structure rewards execution, not activity.


  • Hunting and developing group business across Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Iowa, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. You will prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close from initial inquiry through signed contract.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with meeting planners, third-party agencies, and corporate decision-makers who control significant travel spend.
  • Traveling to tradeshows, client events, and industry meetings to stay visible and relevant in your market.
  • Conducting site inspections that don't just show a property, they sell a vision.
  • Collaborating internally with operations, catering, and revenue management to ensure what you promise can actually be delivered.


Who This Is For


  • You have 10+ years in hotel group sales and a track record that speaks for itself. You know the difference between a tentative and a definite and you know how to move one to the other.
  • You understand the Mid-West or Texas market. Connections in Texas are a plus, but what matters most is your ability to build them wherever you go.
  • You are comfortable working on-site, full-time, in a high-expectation environment. Remote is not part of this equation.
  • You know Delphi or a comparable sales system. You know Cvent. You know how to manage a pipeline without being managed by it.
  • You write well, present confidently, and negotiate without flinching.


Compensation


  • Base Salary: $95,000 – $100,000
  • Quarterly Incentive Plan
  • Targeted Total Annual Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 based on goal achievement
  • Full benefits package
