We are partnering with an emerging restaurant brand in the Washington, DC area to identify a dynamic Director of Restaurant Operations. Backed by strong financial investment, this company currently operates three thriving locations and is strategically positioned for significant expansion. We are seeking a dedicated hospitality executive to initially manage daily operations for these three locations as a Multi-Unit General Manager.

The Role: Strategic Leadership & Daily Operations
In this highly visible position, you will oversee the three existing locations while operating with a full management support team. Your immediate focus will be acting in a multi-unit capacity, ensuring operational excellence across all current units. As the company executes its strategic growth plan, your role will expand to manage additional locations and build the future leadership pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily operations of three existing restaurant locations, ensuring a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage the DC market with minimal supervision, utilizing your strategic leadership skills to drive profitability and performance.
  • Mentor and support the existing management teams, cultivating a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.
  • Establish and refine operational systems that support the upcoming expansion of the brand.
  • Identify, train, and promote future leaders to support new store openings and market growth.
What You Bring to the Table
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who is deeply grounded in daily restaurant operations while possessing the strategic vision necessary to scale a brand.

Qualifications:
  • Current experience operating in a multi-unit capacity, actively overseeing 2 to 4 restaurant locations.
  • A diverse operational background featuring blended concepts, including full-service, fast-casual, counter service, and QSR environments.
  • A proven track record of managing a market autonomously and making strategic decisions to improve bottom-line results.
  • A passion for developing people and building inclusive, high-performing hospitality teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to execute comprehensive business plans.
