Kitchen Manager Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Manager, you will lead all back-of-house operations and drive execution across the kitchen:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and speed
• Train, coach, and develop a high-performing culinary team
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with leadership on menu execution and operational initiatives
• Drive accountability, efficiency, and team performance in a high-volume environment

Kitchen Manager Requirements

• 3+ years of Kitchen Manager or BOH leadership experience
• Background in high-volume, full-service restaurants
• Proven ability to lead, train, and retain teams
• Strong understanding of food cost, inventory, and ordering systems
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus (not required)
