The Role
We're looking for an energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to support our General Manager in leading day-to-day operations. This is a working management role — you'll be on the floor, in the thick of service, and an active presence for both your team and your guests. What You'll Do
• Partner with the GM to oversee daily FOH and BOH operations, ensuring consistent execution of food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction
• Lead, coach, and develop hourly team members — you'll play a key role in training and building a strong, motivated crew
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling
• Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to support profitability goals
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation
• Support inventory control and ordering as needed
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Support catering operations and special event execution when applicable
• Step up in the GM's absence to keep operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service or high-volume casual dining environment
• A hands-on leadership style — someone who leads from the floor, not the office
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• Experience with scheduling, cash handling, and basic cost control
• A genuine commitment to guest experience and food quality
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• POS proficiency (Aloha or similar systems a plus)
• ServSafe certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
• $60,000 – $67,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
