The Opportunity
We’re hiring an experienced Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen at our high-energy gastropub concept in Quakertown, PA. As Sous Chef for our Quakertown, PA location, you’ll be the Chef’s right hand in executing elevated pub fare, seasonal menus, and scratch cooking that keeps our regulars coming back.

What You’ll Do as Sous Chef
- Execute daily service for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch at our gastropub in Quakertown, PA, maintaining quality, consistency, and ticket times
- Lead the line during service and manage BOH staff including training, scheduling support, and performance coaching
- Oversee prep and production
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships alongside the Executive Chef to control food cost and minimize waste
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards at our Quakertown, PA kitchen — ServSafe certification required
- Collaborate on menu development with seasonal ingredients, local farms, and craft beer pairings that define our gastropub concept
- Cover for Executive Chef on days off and represent culinary leadership to FOH and ownership
What You Bring
- 2+ years as a Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or Chef de Partie in a high-volume scratch kitchen
- Gastropub, brewery, or elevated casual dining experience preferred — you understand flavor, speed, and hospitality
- Strong knife skills, grill/sauté station mastery, and ability to run expo
- Passion for local sourcing, nose-to-tail cooking, and creative daily specials
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in our Quakertown, PA location
- Leadership mindset — you teach, motivate, and hold the line to high standards
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand 10+ hours in a fast-paced kitchen
