Restaurant Area Director | South Jersey

Position Summary:
The Area Director is responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations across the South Jersey region, ensuring consistent operational excellence, strong financial performance, and exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role requires a strategic and hands-on operator who can develop strong General Managers, drive results, and support scalable growth across all units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations within the assigned region
  • Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and leadership teams to ensure consistent performance and accountability
  • Drive sales growth and profitability through operational execution, guest experience improvements, and team development
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, labor, food costs, and controllable expenses
  • Ensure all locations maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate operations, provide coaching, and ensure brand standards are met
  • Support hiring, training, and retention strategies across all locations
  • Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and consistency across the region
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of restaurant management experience, including multi-unit leadership responsibility
  • Proven success managing multiple P&Ls and driving strong financial results
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing management teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and local regulations
  • Willingness to travel frequently between restaurant locations
