Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager

Job Description: The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for all overall operations of the restaurant. Responsibilities will also include hiring, training and developing the hourly staff and management team. Fantastic leadership, the ability to multi-task, and communication abilities will be essential as the Restaurant General Manager. As the Restaurant General Manager, you’ll set the overall tone for the restaurant and ensure that all team members are treated with respect and encouragement. The ability to solve complaints quickly and professionally will be a critical function as the Restaurant General Manager. Administrative functions of the Restaurant General Manager will include product ordering, scheduling, and monitoring all financials. The Restaurant General Manager would ensure that company policies, procedures and sanitary practices are implemented and maintained in a consistent manner.

Qualifications:

·       A bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience is preferred for the Restaurant General Manager

·       The Restaurant General Manager must live by guest-oriented philosophy and show honesty and integrity in all things

·       A solid track record in achieving financial results is a must for the Restaurant General Manager

·       The Restaurant General Manager must be passionate about, and thrive on, the development and mentoring of others

·       High-volume full service experience of 2+ years as a Restaurant General Manager is a must for this position
