Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full event lifecycle from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, including site tours, tastings, proposal creation, and contract closing
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, corporate outreach, networking, and partnership development
  • Develop detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen, front-of-house, bar, and support teams
  • Lead on-site event execution, overseeing timelines, logistics, and guest experience for flawless delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including chefs, general managers, vendors, and external partners
  • Handle logistics for both on-site private dining and off-site catering events, including staffing, equipment, and transportation
  • Track and optimize key performance metrics such as conversion rates, average event spend, lead sources, and revenue goals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (experience with Pipedrive or similar platforms preferred) to support forecasting and pipeline visibility
  • Conduct post-event recaps, collect feedback, and nurture relationships for repeat business and referrals

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of proven experience in events, catering, private dining, hospitality sales, or business development
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and consistently close business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposals, client presentations, and team coordination
  • Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during live events
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems (Pipedrive or equivalent) and POS platforms such as OpenTable or Toast
  • Background in outbound sales, partnerships, or corporate event planning
  • Conversational Spanish and knowledge of Mediterranean, Spanish cuisine, or wine culture
  • Established network of event planners, corporate buyers, or hospitality vendors
  • Passion for delivering elevated hospitality experiences and driving measurable revenue growth
